Shermalot Water Ski Show Team hosted its first adaptive water ski clinic on Wednesday at Lake Arrowhead, giving people with disabilities a chance to try water skiing with specialized equipment (including boards with attached seats). Organizers said they plan to hold another clinic later this summer.
New owner Amy Alvis continues a downtown Wausau tradition as she runs the Gourmet Peddler popcorn wagon that Chip Winters operated for 30 years. The wagon now offers snow cones, smoothies and popcorn during local events on the 400 Block.
