  • Greg Atchison has brightened Festival Foods and County Market for nearly 30 years with friendly service and a boomerang award. He will keep working part-time as he nears 70—bringing joy to local shoppers.  WSAW

  • Icy road conditions have led Yach’s Body and Custom to work on many car crash repairs as vehicles now take about eight days to fix and cost roughly $4,000 to $5,000+ drivers are advised to slow down on slippery roads.  WSAW

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Rylie Hutchinson (a Newman Catholic High School graduate) is set to serve as executive director of the Wausau River District beginning mid-January. She will manage operations, community events, and downtown partnerships to boost local vitality.  Wausau Daily Herald

SPORTS NEWS

  • Marathon boys basketball won 68-24 over Pacelli Monday night to improve their record to 8-0, and they will face Wausau East Tuesday while Pacelli falls to 3-6.  WSAW
