- ➤ The Community Outreach Task Force has moved its program from the Marty Bus on River Drive to a new location at the Hmong American Center on 6th Street. It serves 60+ people weekly with meals, clothing and supplies, and outreach runs Wednesday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. WSAW
- ➤ Puzzle lovers can bring a complete gently used puzzle with at least 300 pieces to swap for new challenges at Marathon County Public Library headquarters — 300 N. First St. on Feb. 21 from 10 a.m. to noon, with the free event open to the public and no registration required. Wausau Daily Herald

- ➤ University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is gathering public input for a chancellor search during forums held at the Dreyfus University Center (1015 Reserve St.) on Monday, Feb. 16; Tuesday, Feb. 17; and Thursday, Feb. 19, with three finalists including interim Chancellor Pratima Gandhi. WSAW
- ➤ Wausau West High School's mock trial team earned its fourth straight regional title and will compete at the state tournament (March 6-8), guided by teacher and attorney mentors. The achievement secures their spot in the upcoming state competition. Wausau Daily Herald

- ➤ City crews are using a high-pressure steamer to clear ice around storm drains and fill potholes as warmer temperatures allow for spring maintenance — they ask locals to scrape curb lines to stop moisture from worsening road cracks. WSAW

- ➤ Marshfield Clinic will open its Wisconsin Rapids campus at 7 a.m. on March 1 at 440 24th Street South (offering inpatient beds, an emergency department, radiological services, and on-site lab testing) as urgent care merges into the new ED connecting patients to specialized care across the region.
