- ➤ The Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce teamed with Wendy Furrer and Host: Central Wisconsin to introduce the Community Concierge program that offers community tours, monthly check-ins, relocation services and career support for spouses to help attract and retain employees in member businesses. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ WRPS asks voters to approve a $3.8 million referendum over five years to maintain specialized education and technology programs amid planned budget cuts (affecting AP classes and dual enrollment). Public listening sessions are scheduled through April 7, with the next on Wednesday, March 4 at 9 a.m. at Think Academy. WSAW
- ➤ Two D.C. Everest High School juniors, Ember Meadows & Emma Danke, will travel to Normandy in June to perform at the D-Day Memorial Parade and Ceremony. They will first be fitted for uniforms and trained in Washington, D.C. to honor World War II veterans and survivors. Wausau Daily Herald
