- ➤ The Marathon County Public Library invites families to join a free puzzle race on March 21 from 10 a.m. to noon at its headquarters — 300 N. First St. — where teams of up to six members must include an adult and register online due to limited puzzles. Wausau Daily Herald
- ➤ Central Wisconsin Housing Summit will be held on April 15 at the Dreyfus University Center in Stevens Point to address housing supply and affordability with panel discussions and a keynote by UW Madison professor Kurt Paulsen. Wausau Daily Herald

- ➤ Tonight at 7 p.m., the D.C. Everest band gives a send-off concert for its tour of Dublin, Galway and Cork at the senior high school in Weston; the band leaves Friday at 11 a.m. for a Minnesota flight to Ireland. WAOW
- ➤ Wausau Community Theatre will perform its spring musical 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee' at the Veninga Theater downtown from March 20 to March 22. The show invites adult viewers to experience live audience participation as six spelling bee contestants find friendship on stage. WAOW

- ➤ Mid-State Technical College's Construction Electrician Apprenticeship Program enrollment increased from 156 to 191 students over three years as demand for skilled electricians grows from expanding solar farms + construction projects. WSAW
- ➤ Tickets remain available for the Wausau School Foundation fundraiser featuring comedian Tim Cavanagh at the Jefferson Street Inn on Friday, Mar. 13 (7 p.m.), where a silent auction, wine pull and cash bar will take place; tickets cost $40 each or $350 per table and proceeds support local school programs.
