- ➤ Tickets are available for fundraising events on the Packers’ Tailgate Tour that will visit Milwaukee on April 8, Madison on April 9, La Crosse on April 10, Wausau on April 11 and finish in Green Bay on April 12 — organizers say there will be no formal autograph sessions at the events. WSAW
- ➤ Local businesses in Wausau are raising funds to support the family of teenager Bradyn Bohn—Casa Amigos Mexican Restaurant donates 15% of all orders for dine in and take out until closing and Finishing Touch Signs sells Bradyn Memorial Stickers to help the family. The effort honors his memory and brings needed aid during this difficult time. WSAW
- ➤ The Rosholt Fair Association announced plans to start a capital campaign to raise $1.2 million to build a 180x60-foot entertainment pavilion with new restrooms, refrigeration, and an enclosed stage and dance floor. The association is asking the community for input to help guide potential donor and sponsor support. WSAW

- ➤ A 48-year-old Weston man—Christopher Harter—is held in Marathon County Jail on a $75,000 cash bond after a traffic stop on County Highway C led police to find 83.5 grams of suspected fentanyl in his pocket on March 7. WSAW
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Riverside Elementary hosted its 23rd science fair where more than 200 students worked on 117 self-chosen projects while UWSP Education students gained real-world experience by assisting and conducting mock interviews (preparing for future teaching roles). Principal Kevin Kampmann said the event highlighted the hard work of the students and deepened the district's partnership with UWSP Education. WAOW

- ➤ Wausau firefighters may soon train under real fire conditions in a new burn tower. Fire Chief Jeremy Kopp asked the city's Infrastructure and Facilities Committee for at least two acres of accessible land and will present property options on April 10 — the project will also include a partnership with Northcentral Technical College. - ➤ The Wausau Cyclones will host the Rochester Grizzlies in game one of the Fraser Cup semifinals at Marathon Park Friday at 7:10 p.m. They will play game two in Rochester Saturday at 7:05 p.m. and return home for game three on Sunday at 6:10 p.m. if needed — tickets are refundable when game three is not required.
