- ➤ Garden Path Greenhouse in Wausau has been preparing for spring planting since late February—its 11 greenhouses are maintained at 60 to 75 degrees to reduce energy costs, and owner Fabricio Da Mota expects to welcome visitors on April 25th while remaining cautious of unexpected snow and humidity. This effort aims to ensure the plants, many of which are rooted overseas, thrive under optimal conditions. WSAW

- ➤ D.C. Everest high school band members are planning to travel to Ireland next year to march in the Cork City Saint Patrick's Day parade and held a fundraiser this past weekend to kick off their efforts—teacher Joe Finnegan said the trip will cost about $4,000 per person and noted additional fundraisers are planned. - ➤ Residents are advised to update their driver’s licenses to the Real ID needed for air travel and access to federal facilities by May 7. The DMV said that updating during a renewal costs the same while a replacement fee applies after May 7 — customers must provide extra documents to prove their identity and address. WSAW
