- ➤ Wausau School District voters will see a five-year referendum for $40 million on the April 1 ballot to address a $3.7 million budget deficit for the 2025-26 school year. Officials say the measure would maintain the current mill rate—thanks to prior debt prepayment—and funds would support programs, staff, and facility upgrades. Wausau Daily Herald
