- ➤ Ambassador Girl Scout Elliat Zodrow plans to deliver cookies to every sheriff's department in Wisconsin during the 2025 cookie season, aiming to visit all 72 counties to thank law enforcement for their service & inspire other Girl Scouts. WSAW
- ➤ The Wisconsin Valley Fair at Marathon Park will feature three music acts over three nights with Sawyer Brown performing Tuesday, July 29, Parmalee on July 30 and Night Ranger on July 31—each act offering reserved seating as well as free fair admission. Reserved seating tickets will go on sale next Friday, April 4 at 8 a.m. WSAW

- ➤ Bergen’s incumbent clerk candidate, Gloriann Doyle, was charged on March 25 with eight felony counts including forgery, misconduct in office, and theft after she allegedly transferred over $100,000 from town funds between July 1, 2024 and January 20, and she remains in custody with a bond set at ($50,000) and a preliminary hearing scheduled for (April 2). - ➤ Brittany Kinser, the school choice candidate in the state superintendent race, did not say if she supports a universal voucher program for private schools while incumbent Jill Underly would end the income-restricted program. The two will face off on April 1—voters watch closely as their clear views on school choice shape the race. Wausau Daily Herald

- ➤ Mary Binkley—a local Wausau native—donated her 30 acre lot to North Central Conservancy Trust in Marathon County earlier this month to protect the area’s natural resources. The trust said it will host public events and a volunteer workday this spring to treat invasive honeysuckle as it expands its conserved land to over 500 acres in Marathon County. WAOW

- ➤ Elon Musk announced he will speak in Wisconsin on Sunday (March 30) and will offer $1 million checks to people who sign his petition against activist judges ahead of the Supreme Court race. Attorney General Josh Kaul said he will take legal action to block the payments as Musk has already spent millions backing conservative candidate Brad Schimel. Wausau Daily Herald
- ➤ Billionaire Elon Musk announced that he will hold a rally in Wisconsin on Sunday to personally hand over two checks for $1 million each to voters who have already cast ballots in the Supreme Court race—he did not explain how the winners will be chosen and the event is scheduled two days before the election. - ➤ Attorney General Josh Kaul said he will file a court order today to block Elon Musk from awarding $1 million checks to two voters ahead of Tuesday's state Supreme Court election (Musk now plans to give the checks to spokespersons for his petition). The action follows concerns that the offer may break Wisconsin election bribery laws. Wausau Daily Herald
