- ➤ The Boys and Girls Club of Wausau is hosting about 150 kids daily this week during spring break + a 64% increase from last year's attendance as rising childcare costs lead more families to enroll; the club's café is serving twice its usual number of meals. WSAW

- ➤ Wisconsin Public Service is preparing for potential power outages as an ice storm moves toward north central and northeast parts, with severe ice and snow expected over the next several hours. The utility is reviewing staffing plans plus stocking materials to restore power quickly if damage occurs. WSAW
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul is suing the EPA after it announced a rollback of 2024 pollution controls to looser 2012 rules. Kaul, joined by Clean Wisconsin and other states, claims the move risks higher mercury levels in local waters and threatens public health. Wausau Daily Herald

- ➤ The Red Cross is hosting blood drives in Marathon, Portage, and Wood counties through April, including events at Mosinee Brewing Company on April 3 and First Universalist Church on April 7.
