- ➤ The Wausau Ethics Board asked City Attorney Ann Jacobson and City Clerk Kaitlyn Bernarde to detail what they can share ahead of an April 30th hearing into a complaint against Mayor Doug Diny for moving the municipal dropbox — Board Member Brian Mason said the request ensures a complete record for structuring the questions. - ➤ The Department of Children and Families held a roundtable at the Marathon County Public Library to talk about the future of child care funding with local leaders and employees who warned that 25 percent of centers might close and fees could go up by $25—$50 weekly. DCF Secretary Jeff Pertl said unaffordable costs may force families to stop working, and the discussion will help guide future state investment. WAOW
