- ➤ The Wausau Eagles Club will provide free Easter meals to the community on April 20 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.—families can request up to four meals that include ham, mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, vegetables, a roll and a cookie at 1703 S. 3rd Ave while supplies last. WSAW
- ➤ In its 33rd year, the Family Radio Network's Help for the Homeless Drive broke its record by collecting over $723,000 in hygiene and cleaning supplies to support 137 crisis programs in 22 communities. More than 1,000 local businesses, churches and schools hosted collection boxes—adding vital supplies for those in need. WAOW

- ➤ Visit Wausau is hosting a shuttle from Stor-in-Dor on S 18th Ave for the NFL Draft on April 24, 25, and 26 to help visitors save money on hotels and rides to Titletown—local businesses expect the event to boost the area’s economy by about half a million dollars. WSAW
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ State Attorney General Josh Kaul and Representative Pat Snyder held a press conference in Wausau on Tuesday to ask for $65 million over the next two years to replace VOCA funds that dropped from $44 million over five years to about $13 million this year. The leaders said the additional funding will help support services for victims of crime. WAOW
