A bilingual funeral service will be held Friday, May 23 at First United Methodist Church of Wausau for Lolipa 'Israel' Tambwe—who drowned May 11 in the Wisconsin River near the kayak launch and arrived as a refugee in April 2024—who was a student at Wausau East and a member of the soccer team.
