- ➤ On Monday, Ramp Up Marathon County began its 2025 season by building a three-day wheelchair ramp project for a family in need—volunteer builder Richard Keding said he is working on his 85th ramp to help keep people in their own homes. WSAW
- ➤ Impact100 Greater Wausau awarded a $100,000 grant to Adaptive Communities, Inc. at its Annual Awards Celebration to support the 'Growing Adaptive Communities' project—designed to improve ADA access at their new facility and acquire a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for field trips. The organization, founded in 2017 to provide life skills for adults with special needs, was chosen from three finalists while the other two received smaller Merit Grants. WAOW
