- ➤ The Wood County Sheriff’s Department is seeking help in locating 16-year-old Ethan—blonde and 5 feet 3 inches tall—who was last seen at the Wisconsin Rapids Walmart at 8:45 p.m. May 31 after leaving his home near Pittsville, with an earlier sighting in Pittsville at 2:30 p.m. May 31. WAOW

- ➤ Edgar High School students restored an antique John Deere tractor with help from teacher Matt Reinders to learn engine repairs, body work and electrical systems, and the finished tractor will be raffled to the public. The winning ticket will be announced at the Edgar Steam Show on Sunday, August 24—giving community members a chance to support the school’s hands-on program. WSAW
