- ➤ A house fire in the Village of Hatley injured two women when responders rescued a 57-year-old who suffered life-threatening injuries from a home on the 200 block of Kirkwood Street early Tuesday morning — a 67-year-old with burns was also treated and investigators are looking into the cause. - ➤ Aspirus Wausau Hospital completed its emergency department expansion last Tuesday with eight new patient rooms added to the previous 18, increasing total capacity to 30 treatment spaces + the project started in 2022 to meet rising emergency needs. WSAW
