ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Two people were seriously injured in a crash on Hwy 29 near Wittenberg on Sunday around 3:30 p.m. when a vehicle left the road, became airborne, and rolled multiple times with one person trapped beneath it—emergency crews extricated the victim and airlifted both to nearby hospitals. WSAW

- ➤ Wausau police found a 58-year-old man dead on a walking trail near Bridge St between Culver’s and Pick N Save around 6:15 p.m. on Sunday evening — he was a member of the unhoused community — and foul play was not suspected as the cause of death remains pending. WSAW
- ➤ Wausau police said Susan Pickett—who had been subject to a Silver Alert for her missing dementia—was found safe after she was last seen at 8:45 p.m. Sunday near the 500 block of East Wausau Avenue. WAOW
- ➤ Wausau police issued a Silver Alert for Susan Pickett, a 72-year-old woman missing after she was last seen on Sunday at the 500 Block of E Wausau Avenue wearing a black shirt and blue jeans or a light-blue matching set of pajamas, and anyone with information is urged to call 715-261-7795. WSAW
- ➤ Trenton Lawry, an 18-year-old from Wisconsin Rapids, faced three charges including homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle and reckless driving after he ran a stop sign near Auburndale on Dec 13—killing passenger Kasey Ramthun, and he is set to appear in court on Aug 4. WSAW
