Mia Johnson broke Northwoods League history with her 16th home run today — setting the record with eight games left in the season and crediting her success to solid confidence at the plate.

Pilots from across the globe have arrived in Wausau ahead of the EAA AirVenture Cup Race, which begins Saturday at 9 a.m. at Wausau Downtown Airport and follows a 400-mile course through Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan — more than 85 pilots are set to compete.
