- ➤ The Hmong Wausau Festival will take place on July 26 and 27 at the People's Sports Complex—featuring sports tournaments, dance and singing contests, a grand parade at 10 a.m. on July 26 and vendors with an $11 admission fee. Organizers invite families to join and celebrate Hmong culture. WAOW

- ➤ During the spring turkey season that began on April 12, the Wisconsin DNR reported that hunters registered 50,287 birds and youth hunters recorded 3,981 birds during a two-day youth hunt (a 14% increase from the five-year average) while 93% of harvest authorizations were applied for, showing robust statewide participation.
