- ➤ JoJo’s Jungle celebrates five years of connecting Wausau families with features that honor Josiah “JoJo” Hoerter, including a historic train and expression swing built for all ages. The park, which opened in 2020, is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. (designed for visitors of every ability) (and remains a cherished community space). WSAW

- ➤ Intercity State Bank and One Community Bank finalized their planned merger on August 1—Intercity now operates as a branch of One Community Bank, and local customers in Schofield, Weston, and Wausau continue to receive service from familiar staff. WAOW
- ➤ A new year-round golf facility will open in Rothschild in late December or early January as 4 Seasons Golf moves from Rib Mountain. The planned center will offer a Toptracer range with 20 outdoor heated bays—along with four indoor simulators, a full bar and food—and is expected to create up to 25 part-time jobs in the area. WAOW

- ➤ Wausau native Selena Sann, a 21-year-old animal science student with a long history in 4-H, is named the 2025 Fairest of the Fair at the Wisconsin Valley Fair that stays open until Sunday.
