EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Wausau School District experienced delays with school bus pick-ups and drop-offs during the first days of school, and district administrators met with First Student leaders— the bus provider— to review a plan for better communication. Another meeting will take place later this week to find lasting solutions for families and schools. WAOW

- ➤ Riverside Fire District received a WPS Foundation grant to purchase water rescue life jackets—Edgar, South Area, Norwood, White Lake and Wittenberg fire departments also received funds to buy essential safety equipment.
