The Wausau Area Food for Hope Turkey Drive raised $23K to provide 1,300 hams and turkeys for families this Thanksgiving.
Led by Rob Hughes at NTC Alternative High School, the drive concluded on Nov. 20 at Lamb’s Fresh Market in Rib Mountain, with local donors + volunteers making it possible.

The restaurant will donate sales from its beet canape and Mac Attack pizza and offer a $1 discount on food or a beer for each food drive donation.
Local law enforcement advises residents to install security cameras and adjust delivery times to prevent porch piracy this holiday season.
Wausau residents can also use secure pickup sites and mail holds to keep packages safe.

The mats were donated today to Catholic Charities for distribution among those in need.
